The Miracle of Santa Luzia

Descrição do Produto

The film is a journey through Brazil who plays accordion, led by Dominguinhos, one of the most important accordion players in the country. Between meetings filled with lots of music and bringing together testimonies of the most representative brazilian accordionists, the movie has precious records of important personalities of the brazilian popular music, as the poet Patativa do Assaré, Sivuca and Mario Zan, who died shortly after his participation in the film.
The Miracle of Santa Luzia shows a deep Brazil and anonymous: the northeastern man and his saga of migrant, the departure and the desire to one day return; the Pantanal man and his contemplative attitude and connection with nature; Gaucho (the man from south) with his ode to the traditions and proud of homeland; the man from Sao Paulo who divided between the yokel culture and the mix of traditions from the city, creates a style in which all traditions are present.

The Miracle of Santa Luzia is a tribute to Luiz Gonzaga, who was born in December 13, 1908, the day of Saint Lucy.

 "Throughout the foot of mountain
It has an accordion player
It has a Zabumbeiros
It has a player
Even if it's bad
Playing just a little tiny bit
It brings joy to everyone "
